The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, former president of the Republic of China.
It is located in the Zhongzheng District of Taipei at the east end of Memorial Hall Square and contains not only a large statue hall, but a museum and library.
